Referring to the referral letter written by my first gynae, she suggested ERPOC to be done. When i meet the doc at O&G HA, I heard that she did mention about ERPOC while she was talking to the other doctor on the phone. The specialist, if I'm not mistaken. I wasn't really sure what is ERPOC. I know nothing about it, to be exact. I'm thinking of some kind of method to clean up the fetus in my uterus. But i keep hearing people mention about D&C. At first, I thought D&C and ERPOC is just the same thing. But somehow, I'm eager to find out what ERPOC stands for.
I googled the word ERPOC. I found that ERPOC stands for Evacuation of Retained Products of Conception. Then I found this blog. Her entry is about her experience doing ERPOC. From her blog, there is a link to another blog. And I found comparison between D&C and ERPOC here.
After reading those two blogs, I am confused of which treatment should I undergo. Can I decide for the option, or the doctor will decide for me? Hmmm...Based on my reading, if I were to choose, I would rather opt for ERPOC rather than D&C.
